Description

Neural Fantasia is a painting created from tens of thousands of painted pyramidal neurons combined in abstract ways, a tribute to the cortical columns of our neocortex. The neurons that are involved in the most advanced part of human intelligence are found in our neocortex. Our neocortex is structured in microcolumns and each microcolumn contains around 100 neurons which deal with similar types of inputs. A group of microcolumns make a cortical column and we have around 150000 columns in our neocortex.
